Both the 2024 Forester and 2024 Outback sit at a standard 8.7-inch ground clearance, which you can upgrade on the Wilderness trim of both models to 9.2 inches on the Forester and 9.5 inches on the Outback. Standard 17-inch wheels are featured on both models, with the option to climb trims and upgrade to 18-inch on select trim levels. LED headlights are standard on the Outback and available on the Forester on higher trim levels. Raised roof rails are offered across the board on both models, and on the Wilderness trim level of both vehicles you can maximize your exterior storage. The Forester Wilderness has roof rails that can withstand up to 800 lbs of static weight, while the Outback Wilderness can handle up to 700 lbs of static weight.
