The exterior of the Crosstrek gets a facelift with the 2024 model, featuring a frameless hexagonal grille, more sculpting along the body and new compact headlights to give your Crosstrek a more dynamic look out on the road. The 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness has the same exterior design and comes standard with 17-inch wheels, which are standard on the base trim of the Crosstrek as well. Or you can climb trim levels on the Crosstrek for 18-inch wheels. Yokohama® GEOLANDER® all-terrain tires are uniquely offered on the Crosstrek Wilderness. Roof rails are standard fare for both models, but only the Crosstrek Wilderness offers rails that can handle heavier cargo, including tents and water gear, and can manage a static capacity of 700 pounds!
Both the 2024 Crosstrek and 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness are outfitted with copious amounts of cushy features to keep you at the epitome of comfort throughout your journey. Standard to both models are heated front seats and dual-zone climate control. Optional with the Crosstrek is leather upholstery while the Crosstrek Wilderness features the water-repellent and easy to maintain StarTex® upholstery. The Subaru-exclusive STARLINK® multimedia plus system is standard fare on both models to keep you connected no matter where the road takes you. The Crosstrek features a standard 7-inch touchscreen display, or you can bump up trims for an 11.6-inch touchscreen display, which comes standard on the Crosstrek Wilderness. Voice-activated navigation is only available with the Crosstrek.
Standard for both the 2024 Crosstrek and the 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness is the Subaru-exclusive Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system for better balance and stability. A CVT automatic transmission is also standard fare across the lineup. The Crosstrek comes standard with a 2.0-liter flat-four BOXER® that pumps out a potent 152 horsepower. If you’re looking for more power, you can bump trims and upgrade to the 2.5-liter flat-four BOXER® with 182 horsepower, which is the standard engine for the Crosstrek Wilderness. Either engine option will net you 178 lb/ft of torque. X-MODE® is standard fare on the Crosstrek Wilderness.
