The 2024 Impreza offers three exciting trim levels to choose from while the 2024 Legacy has five, making sure no matter which sedan you choose, you can customize to get the vehicle that matches you perfectly. The Impreza offers 16-inch steel wheels as standard fare while the Legacy comes standard with 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Both sedans offer the option of 18-inch wheels. LED steering responsive headlights are standard fare for the best visibility, especially while cornering. LED fog lights are available on higher trim levels of both models as are windshield wiper de-icers and heated side mirrors. A glass moonroof is standard on higher trim levels of the Legacy and optional on the Impreza.

Both the 2024 Impreza and the 2024 Legacy have optimal room for 5 with the Legacy boasting over 5 cubic feet more than the Impreza in passenger volume. While the Legacy has 15.1 cubic feet of room in the trunk for luggage, backpacks, or shopping bags, the Impreza delivers 56 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seat folded down. Both sedans offer a standard 6-way manually-adjustable driver’s seat and an available 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat on higher trims. While both vehicles have available heated front seats, you’ll only find heated rear outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, and ventilated front seats available on the Legacy. A dual-zone climate control is standard on the Impreza and available on the Legacy. The STARLINK multimedia system is standard in both sedans with dual 7-inch touchscreen displays with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. You can upgrade to an 11.6-inch screen on both cars as well as wireless smartphone integration.
The 2024 Impreza and the 2024 Legacy both offer two potent powertrains to choose from. The 2.0-liter BOXER® engine is standard fare on the Impreza, producing a solid 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque while the Legacy’s standard engine is a rapid 2.5-liter BOXER®, which you can choose on higher trims of the Impreza. This powertrain makes a fleet-footed 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. The 2.4-liter turbocharged engine is available on higher trim levels of the Legacy, netting you a thunderous 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Symmetrical all-wheel drive and Active Torque Vectoring are standard on both vehicles while you’ll only see SI-DRIVE® on the Impreza. Both sedans are paired to the Lineartronic® CVT. The Impreza offers up to 34 MPG on the highway while the Legacy gets up to 35 highway MPG.

The 2024 Impreza has yet to be rated by the NHTSA but the 2024 Legacy has already nabbed a perfect score of five stars for every safety test. Both sedans boast the standard EyeSight® suite of driver assist technology, which includes the Pre-Collision Braking System, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering. Only the Impreza offers standard Pre-Collision Throttle Management while Automatic Emergency Steering is exclusive to the Legacy. Blind Spot Detection with Lane Centering Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is available on the higher trim levels of both vehicles.
