2019 Subaru Forester vs 2019 Subaru Outback Design & Dimensions

These all-wheel drive vehicles have very different approaches when it comes to design. While the 2019 Subaru Forester is a small SUV, the 2019 Subaru Outback is actually an AWD wagon. This gives the Subaru Forester greater passenger volume (111.9 cubic feet, compared to the 108.1 cubic feet that the Subaru Outback offers); the two vehicles share nearly identical passenger volume. What's more, the Subaru Forester also has a tighter turning radius. However, every 2019 Subaru Outback comes standard with roof rails, enabling you to carry extra cargo or take along bikes, kayaks, skis, and other larger objects. Roof rails are standard on most Subaru Forester trim levels; however, the entry-level trim only has them as an available option.
